and…best of all…its FREE!
we have access to some office space that will not be used during the hours we are choosing to do this…..and the owner doesnt want money!
what a great way to begin …to see if this is actually going to work with this little group of ours!!
better fix up the website and get the address…and we are gonna officially kick it off!

small but do-able
12 month lease….gonna negotiate it out…less money, 6 month lease and perhaps to sweeten it for them…pay half up front
if this thing catches on, we will need to relocate in 6 months…
everyone is watching, praying, donating
everyone is crying, lamenting, holding their loved ones closer
everyone is thinking “what if it was here?”
lots are thinking “should i GO?”
i know alot that are ready, tomorrow, if need be…to pack it and leave and hold and nurse and rescue
what we do know is this is not going to go away in a week or two
Like New Orleans….it will still be there two, three, five years from now….rebuilding the ruins
some of us are watching and feelin the urge to do SOMETHING….prayer helps sort it out what that part is that we must play for our Haitian brothers and sisters
some of the roles are yet to be defined by time…….people to go in a couple months to begin the rebuild of schools and businesses and clinics and restore HOPE.
its a long journey for the people of Haiti…they are used to journey and struggle. they are a strong people….they will endure.
God is watching and providing…and loving them thru His kid’s hands.

While the situation on the streets is critical, Dave Toycen of World Vision Canada said he sees courage and generosity amid the desperation. Toycen said people whose homes weren’t damaged have let others stay in their dwellings.
“We see people sharing things. You see people helping others in the streets. So there’s no question. They’re heroic about this; they haven’t given up, and there’s certainly tangible hope. I think that grows a little bit every day,” said Toycen, World Vision Canada’s president and chief executive officer.

there are so many references to fire and burning in the Bible that it just seemed to be one of those things that seemed obvious
